FIRST PROJECT: THE MOST CURIOUS AND UNUSUAL HOUSE TO LIVE

Hi everybody!!!

We are going to face our first project of the year...I keep my fingers crossed and I hope you enjoy it. It is titled: THE MOST CURIOUS AND UNUSUAL HOUSE TO LIVE.

To develop this project, follow these steps:

1. Make a research on the internet looking for pictures, videos and information about unsual houses to live in the world.
2. Take notes of the most relevant aspects of these houses such as: location, materials, how it is outdoors and indoors, decoration, amount of people that can live inside and so on...
3. Design a postcard presentation with the house you have selected. In that postcard you should print a picture of the house and its characteristics.
4. Elaborate a presentation for your classmates talking about all features of the chosen house. You can choose the format you want.
5. When you finish this project, you must write a blog entry talking about the place you have visited and explored to know this original house.
6. Deadline: 15th October.

UNAMUNIAN TV SHOW

Hi guys!!!!

We face our last project of this academic course. I hope you enjoy it and you can put into practice all the stuff we have learnt throughout this year.

We are going to plan a TV SHOW. Our UNAMUNIAN TV SHOW.

We are going to work in PAIRS. Both persons in the pairing have to think together and both of them have to present their section to the rest of people in the classroom.

Characterization and decoration are going to be taking into consideration for your final mark.

The Sections are going to be the following ones:

GOSSIPING SECTION: Lucas, Beatriz and Alejandra

ACTIVITIES SECTION: Paula, Lucía, Ignacio and Rodrigo

INTERVIEW SECTION:Carla, Desirée and Ricardo

SPORTS SECTION: Diego, Isabel, and Jonathan

We will talk about these section´s contents in the next class and we will even define some deadlines.

PROJECT UNITS 4,5 & 6: REAL SITUATIONS AT TEENS LIFE

Hi everybody!!!

Here we are with a new and quite interesting project for you all. Its title is: REAL SITUATIONS AT TEENS LIFE.

I think you know this matter probably better than me. Anyway, we are going to deal with it from different perspectives. Just follow some guidelines and I keep fingers crossed waiting for a brilliant final result.

As I told you before, we face this topic from different points of view so, first of all you are going to elaborate a survey using google forms, that is going to be distributed among all students at school. Each group is going to share out its survey in a students´level class at our High School.

In this survey, you must ask information from these aspects: relationships (family and friends), free time and interests, future life.

When you get your information, you will elaborate a summary presentation to our class and at the last slide of this presentation...you will say your wishes and conditions to reach a happy life as teenager in our current society.

To finish this project, you will make a research of teens life in other continents apart from Europe. We will decide this issue in our classroom.. You will use Genially tool. So, first of all we will watch a tutorial of how to use it and your final report about teens life in other places of the world will be designed throughout this digital tool and Reported Speech is required to be used.

INSPIRING PEOPLE IN MY LIFE: PROJECT UNIT 3

Hi guys!!!

We start a new unit titled: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. It deals with goals and achievements in our life. Do you have any goals and challenges in your life?? I invite you to think about it and share it with your partners throughout this project.

This project is going to be individual and it is divided in several parts. Just follow some guidelines and you will know how to design it:

1.Elaborate a poster with a famous sentence or an idiom or phrase that helps you to live and achieve your goals in life.

2.We always have people that are references in our life in their way of living, because of their profession, their behaviour, their way of facing life....so you must think and find a person that inspires you.

3.Once you have chosen that person...you should elaborate a presentation of them to present in class. In that presentation you should consider these aspects:

• Who is it?
• Their profession.
• Their goals in life
• Why you admire them
• The main features or characteristic of this person that helps you in your daily life
• What you have learnt thanks to this person.

As usual, it is forbidden to write information on your slides...only titles are allowed.

17th December is your deadline for this project.

AN ADVICE COLUMN!!! OUR SECOND PROJECT

Hi everybody!!!

Let me introduce the second project of this term called : A TEENAGER ADVICE COLUMN.

To design this project, first of all we are going to work with the reading you have at your student´s book on page 26 and 27 as an example of an advice column. After, you are going to work in pairs following this steps:

1. Think about real problems at your age.
2. Select an issue that appeals you
3. Write an advice column with the matter to deal with and the answer
4. Record your advice column orally and send to me.

Deadline for your project 19th November.
