OUR LAST PROJECT: YOUR TRIP TO MALTA!!!

Hi guys!!!

This academic year is almost finished....time flies...but before finishing, Let´s plan our last project related to the adventure you are going to live in a week: your trip to Malta.


The only thing you must do during your trip is taking loads of pictures of the aspects or things that impressed you most.


When you come back from your trip you have to make a presentation no matter the frame and the format, the one you feel comfortable telling the rest of your classmates, the best moments of this trip and the things you learn or impressed you most or even the differences between this country and ours in terms of customs, traditions, food, timetable whatever you consider remarkable.

Deadline for this presentation: 5th June.

Let´s work with our reading: CLASSIC GHOST STORIES!!!

By this time, you should have read the obligatory book for this year titled "CLASSIC GHOST STORIES" shouldn´t you???
In order to know if you have read it or not you must elaborate a brief and precise essay with the following stuff:

1-A glossary with the expressions you have learnt in each story.
2-A summary of each story.
3-Your opinion about the book
And finally,
4-You should invent another ending for each story.

This is an individual work and if you copy from your classmates you will be penalized at your final mark.

Deadline for this work: 27th April.

OUR PROJECT FOR THIS TERM: A BIOGRAFY

Hi everyone!!!

A new project is getting closer and closer.

Here you are some hints to deal with this individual project:

1. Choose an important person for you such as someone in your family. Someone that is still alive or someone who has died.
2. Make a postcard presentation of this person considering aspects such as:  EARLY LIFE, EDUCATION, ACHIEVEMENTS, DEATH. Deadline for this activity: 2nd February
3. Design a power-point presentation with the most important details to introduce his or her biography to the classroom, Deadline for this presentation: 27th March.

In this project I will evaluate not only your oral skills but also your writing.

NEW PROJECT: CREATING OUR COMIC!!!!

Hi guys!!!!

We are about to finish unit 2 which is related to laugh and jokes, that is why I have planned to design a comic to show the classroom the funniest stories or experiences you´ve ever had in your life.

The steps to follow are:

1) Decide with your group your setting and the story you want to tell the classroom

2) You and your mates are going to be the main characters of this story which could be real or not, so select or choose photos of yourself to be included at your comic.

3) Go to publisher programme and there try to design your story. You will be given two hours at computing room to finish this project.

Deadline is on Thursday, 1st December.
